Hello !
I'm a french canadian and i show you the total conversion of de_losttemple for cs1.6 and czero. I have released the private beta for a americain server and this map will be released soon in public beta.

w_polys Stats:
w_polys Max (Top) : 1400* w_polys (middle zone and bridge zone)
w_polys Average : 600 to 900 w_polys
w_polys Min : ~120 w_polys
*1400 : like water zone in de_aztec_cz
fps Stats (tested with a pentium 4 3.0 Ghz, 2go ram ddr2, geforce 7800 gs 128mb ddr2.) :
fps Min (Top) : 70 fps (middle zone and bridge zone)
fps Average : 90 to 140 fps
fps Max : 220 fps
Thanks to stard00d and Magikus for his authorization to remake his map under GoldSource Engine.

The Screens are impressive :)
If i find someone who wants to play some fws on it (and someone who lends me a server)
you´ll get some feedback from me.
Ok I´ve just walk around the map and here are somethings i don´t like (but the look is very cool i would love to have aztec looks like this):

I´ve stucked in there could be fixed if you move the carriage a bit.
2. It Would be nice if you cold jump on the collumns on
a-spot, but could bring some problems like you have them on dust2 b-side (looking in to the catacombs from above if you stand on the chests)
3. I dont like some of the Invisible Walls (T-spawn for example) i think they should begin with the obstacle and not in front of them.

Hey MisterJ,
really good work on the conversion to 1.6. I was really impressed. I also liked your additions, for instance the hall on A, which gave the map a new "place" and additional depth.
Stard00d and I checked the map yesterday and he gave you some detailed feedback already I guess. I think you could add some sounds and lighten 1 - 2 of the darker places inside a bit.
All in all, looking forward to the realease and thanks for the cool remake! :)

No, i dont want skywalking. i just would like to be able to climb on those columns to protect the spot and mentioned the skywalking-thing as a possible problem, if you would change it.
sry for my bad english, but it is not my first language and I am having holidays which is not good for it either^^

Regarding the columns on A:
You have to draw the line somewhere to prohibit player movement.
And I know people love to climb maps. But the designer has to make sure they can't reach overpowered spots.
The problem is, if you stand that high you can oversee parts of the remaining map. Now standing on the columns people will wonder why they can't enter the roof around A and following from there they could climb almost everywhere.
So the only solution would be to encase the columns with even higher walls. But that would look ugly and break the theme of the map. The highest and most dominant building in the map should be the center temple followed by the temple hall @ B.
So in the end it's a design decision. And while climbing the columns might be a neat feature, I think it would rarely be used. A already has lots of cover, especially with the new ramp hall.
